Job summary

A premier Tier 1 Main Contractor in Munster / Cork is seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee finishing, general foreman duties, and site operations. You will lead site crews and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality concrete works and strict safety.

You will work with the Health & Safety team, plan and coordinate subcontractor activities, and monitor progress to meet tight deadlines. The role offers a salary of €60,000–€80,000 DOE plus benefits such as pension and bike-to-work.

Our client, a premier Tier 1 Main Contractor with a long-standing reputation in large-scale construction, is seeking an experienced Foreman to join their team in the Munster area overseeing high-quality site operations and subcontractor performance. Work closely with the Health & Safety team to ensure a fully compliant, safe, and regulated working environment.

Oversee and direct all general concrete work activities and site personnel to deliver projects to the highest standard, ensuring full compliance with both general and specific project specifications. Plan, coordinate, and monitor subcontractor performance while managing the agreed project schedule to meet tight time frames and deadlines.

Give clear direction, manage large volumes of contractors, and motivate colleagues to foster strong teamwork and high productivity. Work collaboratively with the Site Manager and wider project team to maintain exceptional quality standards across all site activities.

Provide clear progress updates, report directly on site performance and outputs, and maintain exceptional written and verbal communication throughout the project lifecycle.
