Job summary

Tirlán, a world-class food and nutrition co-operative, is seeking motivated General Operatives for the Kilkenny City Chilled Foods Plant during the busiest production season.

Join our team from September 2026 to March 2027, working 40 hours per week in a rotating 3-shift pattern (days, evenings and nights) at Thomas Street, Kilkenny City. You'll gain hands-on manufacturing experience, contribute to high-quality food production, and be part of a supportive team committed to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production activities within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
• Follow food safety and quality procedures, including Critical Control Point (CCP) requirements
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and plant hygiene
• Complete Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) processes where required
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental procedures
• Accurate complete production documentation and records
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets
