Job summary

Tirlán is seeking General Operatives for the Kilkenny City Chilled Foods Plant during our busiest production season. You'll support daily production in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and help ensure safety, quality, and efficient operation.

The role involves a rotating 3-shift pattern (days, evenings and nights) from September 2026 to March 2027, located at Thomas Street, Kilkenny City. Candidates should be reliable, collaborative, and prepared to work overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, food production or factory environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production activities within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Follow food safety and quality procedures, including CCP requirements.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and plant hygiene.
• Complete Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) processes where required.
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Accurate complete production documentation and records.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.

We're currently seeking motivated and dependable General Operatives to join our team at our Chilled Foods Plant in Kilkenny City (Kilkenny Food Company) during our busiest production season.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable manufacturing experience, work as part of a supportive team, and contribute to the production of high-quality food products.

The Opportunity

• Working from September 2026 to March 2027
• 40 hours per week
• Rotating 3-shift pattern (days, evenings and nights)
• Located at Thomas Street, Kilkenny City

What You'll Be Doing

As a General Operative, you'll play an important role in ensuring our products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Here, you'll:

• Maintainhigh standards of housekeeping and plant hygiene
