Job summary

Tirlán is offering unique opportunities for graduates to join our Operations teams as an Operations Associate. These onsite roles are based at Kilkenny, South Kilkenny or Wexford and will rotate to a different site during the 2-year programme.

Reporting to a Production Manager, you will gain rich experience in a fast-paced food production environment. We are seeking graduates with strong academic records in Engineering or Food Science, eager to progress in operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level qualifications in Engineering or Food Science; 2.2 honours and above.
• Ambition and adaptability to grow in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to move between Kilkenny and Wexford sites as part of rotations.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in safe systems in a busy production environment.
• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement using lean / six sigma approaches.
• Learn production processes and shift management under supervision.
• Support production team to achieve first-time quality and meet customer requirements.
• Act as a point of authority on shift and escalate issues appropriately.
• Lead daily shift handovers and KPI awareness across the team.
• Foster coaching, training, and multi-skilling within the team.
