Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead service in a busy hotel environment in Ireland. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will ensure friendly, efficient service and maintain high standards across all F&B areas.

The role emphasizes upselling, adherence to SOPs, and daily hygiene checks, with development opportunities through Dalata Academy and a path to internal progression.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star property is desirable.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
• A hardworking, dedicated team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate Food & Beverage service according to SOPs.
• Ensure timely setup and maintenance of F&B areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all F&B areas.
• Provide efficient and friendly service to guests at all times.
• Upsell to maximize sales and complete daily SOP checklists.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists to ensure hygiene.

Reporting to the Food and beverage Manager, the Food & Beverage Supervisorwill provide at all times a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

What You Will Do:

• Operate Food & Beverage service according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure timely setup and ongoing maintenance of Food & Beverage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all Food & Beverage areas.
• Control heating, lighting, and music/TVs to create a comfortable atmosphere.
• Provide efficient and friendly service to guests at all times.
• Maximize sales through effective upselling.
• Complete daily SOP checklists to uphold staff training standards.
• Execute daily and weekly cleaning checklists to ensure high hygiene standards.

What You Will Need:

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros Experience would be preferable.
• Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including midweek and weekends.
• A good team player.
• Are hardworking and dedicated to their role.
