Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to deliver friendly and efficient guest service in our hotel outlet. You’ll learn through the Dalata Academy and have opportunities to grow within the company.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will greet regular guests by name, know the wine list, upsell where appropriate and contribute to a smooth bar and restaurant operation. Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience essential.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Willing to work mornings/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are greeted by name.
• Know the food and wine menu and make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell to maximise sales.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.

Food & Beverage Assistant

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job:

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.


• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.


• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.


• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.


• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.


• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experienceis essential.


• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends


• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.


• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.


• Micros experience would be preferable.


• Experience in a hotel is preferable.
