Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Galway is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead service excellence in a busy hotel environment. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will ensure smooth F&B operations, maintain high hygiene standards and deliver a warm, guest-focused experience.

The role offers development opportunities through the Dalata Academy, with flexible shifts and a supportive team culture to help you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star property is desirable but not essential.
• Able to work flexible shifts including weekends.
• Experience with Micros or similar PMS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate Food & Beverage service according to SOPs.
• Ensure timely setup and ongoing maintenance of Food & Beverage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all Food & Beverage areas.
• Control lighting, music and ambience to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Provide efficient and friendly service to guests at all times.
• Assist in upselling to maximize sales.
• Complete daily SOP checklists to uphold staff training standards.
• Execute daily and weekly cleaning checklists to ensure high hygiene standards.

What You Will Do

• Control heating, lighting, and music/TVs to create a comfortable atmosphere.
• Provide efficient and friendly service to guests at all times.
• Maximize sales through effective upselling.
• Complete daily SOP checklists to uphold staff training standards.
• Execute daily and weekly cleaning checklists to ensure high hygiene standards.

What You Will Need

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros Experience would be preferable
• Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including midweek and weekends.
• A good team player
• Are hardworking and dedicated to their role
