Job summary

O'Callaghan Collection in Dublin is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our F&B team across multiple Dublin hotels. You will oversee staff, ensure exceptional guest service, and drive profitability.

The role requires strong communication, presentation, and sales skills, plus experience with MICROS. A hospitality qualification and a passion for excellence are essential for success and career growth within our four Dublin properties.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in Food & Beverage Service.
• Completed Hospitality/ Travel / Tourism qualification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer care and complaint handling skills.
• Excellent presentation and appearance.
• Sales related skills.
• IT ability (MICROS).
• Ability to deliver quality and standards.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of the food and beverage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure food and beverage operations meet quality standards from preparation to presentation, maintaining safety regulations.
• Manage inventory, stock checks, and orders to control costs.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving complaints.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control, monitoring expenses and profitability.
• Collaborate with chefs to develop menus and promotions to attract guests.

Role information:

• Team Management: Oversee and coordinate the activities of the food and beverage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Quality Control: Ensure that food and beverage operations meet quality standards, from preparation to presentation, maintaining consistency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Inventory and Ordering: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders for food, beverages, and supplies to maintain adequate levels while controlling costs.
• Customer Service: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests.
• Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and cost control measures, monitoring expenses, analysing financial reports, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
• Menu Development and Promotion: Collaborate with chefs to develop menus, create special promotions, and implement marketing strategies to attract guests and increase revenue.

Requirements:
