Job summary

Collins Bar in Carrigaline, Co. Cork, Ireland is seeking a Full-time Front of House/Bar Manager to oversee day-to-day F&B operations.

You will liaise with Heads of Departments daily to maintain staffing levels and manage bookings, while supervising the Collins Bar within budgeted guidelines and the highest standards. Key responsibilities include leading the F&B team through recruitment, training and appraisal, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring cleanliness and service delivery

Qualifications

• Experience in managing food & beverage operations in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to liaise with department heads and manage staffing levels.
• Proven leadership and team management skills in a bar/FOH environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with all HODs daily to ensure sufficient staffing levels.
• Manage bookings and supervise Collins Bar operations within budgeted guidelines.
• Lead F&B team by recruiting, training and appraising staff.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and handle guest feedback.
• Ensure cleanliness and service delivery across the bar and F&B areas.

Full Time Position in Collins Bar

5 days over 7 days

• To liaise with all HOD's on a daily basis to ensure sufficient staffing levels.
• To manage all bookings
• To supervise Collins bar and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
• Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
• Identify customer's needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
• Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
• Establish chedules, policies and procedures
• Provide a two way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
• To assist in the daily operation of Food & Beverage department
• To be operationally responsible for the service delivery and standards throughout the F&B department building when on Duty.
• To ensure that the highest level of cleanliness is upheld in all areas of responsibility.
• Is highly visible and interfaces with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction, effectively responds to guest problems and complaints.
• To be operationally responsible for the service delivery and standards throughout the bar when on Duty.
• Ensure that the back of house areas are in clean and proper condition.
• To handle all complaints in a calm, organized and discreet manner ensuring complete service recovery every time.
• To get involved in and carry out training in the hospital.
