Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc in Dublin is hiring a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our hotel team. You will be trained through the Dalata Academy and work closely with our Food & Beverage Manager to deliver friendly, efficient service to guests.

You’ll greet guests by name, learn about the menu and wines, upsell where appropriate, and help with bar and restaurant duties. The role requires flexibility and prior hospitality experience; fluent English and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours; mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.
