Job summary

The Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, is seeking two Food & Beverage Assistants to join our vibrant team. One will cover Shoda Café (breakfast/day shifts) and the other Enclosure Restaurant (afternoon/late shifts). You should be flexible across the week and available for 3 to 5 shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take orders and make suitable recommendations.
• Prepare and serve coffee and beverages to a high standard.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to customers.
• Keep café and restaurant areas clean, welcoming.
• Serve food adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage stock and replenish supplies as needed.
• Support team to ensure smooth service at all times.
• Work in other F&B areas as required.

The 4-star Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club is seeking passionate Food & Beverage Assistants to join our vibrant team. Conveniently located just a short stroll from Maynooth town centre and only a 25-minute drive from Dublin City Centre, the Glenroyal Hotel is easily accessible via national rail and bus services.

Role Overview:

We are hiring two Food & Beverage Assistants: one for our Shoda Café, covering breakfast and day shifts, and one for our Enclosure Restaurant, covering afternoon and late shifts across the week. You will be ready to work in any food and beverage area of the hotel, delivering memorable, high-quality service.

Both roles require full flexibility across the week. You must be available for 3 to 5 shifts per week, including weekdays and weekends, with shifts varying week to week. The role is not suited to anyone with fixed or limited availability.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take food and beverage orders and make suitable recommendations
• Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to a consistently high standard
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all customers
• Keep the café and restaurant service areas clean, organised and welcoming
• Serve food while adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
• Manage stock and ensure supplies are replenished as needed
• Work with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of service at all times
• Working in other food & beverage areas of the hotel as required

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Previous barista or food service experience is desirable
• A high level of written & spoken English is required
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, 3 to 5 days over 7, including weekends
