Job summary

Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club in Maynooth is seeking an experienced Barista to join our vibrant team and deliver high-quality coffee and beverages with exceptional customer service.

Role requires availability for 5 shifts per week, including weekends, and the ability to work independently on a high-volume counter. On-site duties include maintaining equipment and supporting food service in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year barista experience is essential.
• Previous food handling experience is preferred.
• Experience in training colleagues is an advantage.
• A high level of written & spoken English is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to a consistently high standard.
• Comfortable maintaining coffee machines day-to-day, including adjusting grind settings.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating area.
• Serve food while adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage stock and ensure supplies are replenished as needed.
• Work with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the cafe at all times.
• Working in other food & beverage areas of the hotel as required.
