Job summary

Chapter 24 in Ennis is seeking a Food & Beverage assistant for a part-time role from Monday to Friday. You will deliver excellent guest service, help prepare the restaurant for service, and maintain knowledge of menus and allergens to support recommendations.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in a fast-paced F&B environment, strong presentation, and a friendly, approachable manner with fluent English and good communication. EU work permission is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years in high-volume/F&B environment desirable.
• Passion for hospitality and a long-term career in the field.
• Strong presentation and attention to detail.
• Excellent personal presentation to represent the brand.
• People person with confident, professional customer service.
• Warm, friendly and approachable with staff and guests.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Willing to work midweek, late evenings and weekends.
• Have permission to work in the EU.

Responsibilities

Ennis newest Gastropub Chapter 24 are on the lookout for an energetic, positive and passionate individual to join our team as a Food & Beverage assistant on a part-time basis from Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service, welcoming guests on arrival and thanking them on departure.
• Prepare the restaurant for service, ensuring all set-up is completed to the required standards.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of food and drink menus, including daily specials, allergens, and wine offerings, with the ability to make recommendations to guests.
• Follow hotel procedures for the service of food and beverages, including accurate billing, receipts, and charge signing where applicable.
• Comply fully with food hygiene, health & safety, and fire safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant during and after service, including resetting for the next service period.
• Participate in training as required and work in line with company standards and policies.

The ideal candidate:

• A minimum of 1+ years' experience in a high volume/fast paced Food & Beverage environment is desirable.
• Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to a long-term career in the field.
• Team player with the ability to multi task and have excellent presentation skills with a fine eye for detail.
• Excellent personal presentation/grooming to represent our brand professionally at all times.
• A true people person who can deliver exceptional customer service with confidence and professionalism.
• A warm, friendly, positive, and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Be adaptable and willing to work a variety of shifts, including midweek, late evenings & weekends as per operational requirements.
