Job summary

Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join a luxury estate team. You will help ensure guests have a superb experience with friendly, efficient service, contribute to mise-en-place, and assist during service across morning and evening shifts.

The role offers opportunities within the Windward Group and includes meal on duty, staff discounts, and ongoing development within the hotel and sister properties. A supportive team environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a busy Food & Beverage environment
• Ability to provide efficient, prompt, and courteous service to guests
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Capability to set tables and prepare mis-en-place accurately for service

Responsibilities

The Food & Beverage Assistant is an exciting role that aims to ensure all our guests have a wonderful experience and enjoy excellent service.

About Us

Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is a luxury estate, nestled in 21 acres of lush green Meath countryside. The Georgian mansion which welcomes visitors today was originally built in 1764, on the same site as the original castle. Dunboyne Castle wasacquired by Mr. Thomas Röggla in December 2022. The hotel joined his collection of luxury Irish hotels forming the TMR Hotel Collection, including Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Harvey’s Point, Mount Wolseley & Aghadoe Heights.

Role & Responsibilities

All our team pride themselves in offering exceptional guest service to ensure we always go above our service standards. Your role with us will include:

• Provides efficient, prompt, trouble free, and courteous service while serving and setting tables
• Sets tables as needed prior or on guest arrival.

• Be flexible and adapt to changing environment and demand of a busy workplace

About the role

Requirements

• The ideal candidate must be available to work a mixture of morning and evening shifts, weekends and public holidays
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months customer service experience
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working as a part of a successful team unit
• The ideal candidate must have availability to work a minimum of three days per week

Salary Information

The advertised pay range represents the salary available for this role. Final starting salary will be determined within this range, based on relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and business requirements.
