Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa in Ireland is seeking a Duty Manager to provide comprehensive support across all departments and to ensure the operation runs smoothly while delivering a high-quality guest experience.

The ideal candidate has supervisor or management experience in hospitality, is available for day and evening shifts, can work five days per week including weekends and public holidays, and communicates in excellent English.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisor or management role within the hospitality industry is required.
• Available to work both day and evening shifts.
• Able to work five days per week including weekends and public holidays.
• High level of spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Work with the wider management team to assist with the daily running of the Hotel, ensuring the delivery of excellent guest service from all operational departments.
• Work alongside the floor teams during a variety of functions and give direction to ensure a smooth and consistent delivery of service.
• Ensure any customer complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
• Have full knowledge of the Hotel and all its departments.
• Supervise and provide support to the front of house teams daily.
• Ensure that all guests receive the highest quality of service.
• Assist in the management, training, and development of all the F&B teams, ensuring objectives are regularly monitored and always achieved.
• Assist with performance management issues, ensuring they are always dealt with efficiently and professionally.

Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is a luxury estate, nestled in 21 acres of lush green Meath countryside. The Georgian mansion which welcomes visitors today was originally built in 1764, on the same site as the original castle. Dunboyne Castle was acquired by Mr. Thomas Röggla in December 2022. The hotel joined his collection of luxury Irish hotels forming the TMR Hotel Collection, including Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Harvey’s Point, Mount Wolseley & Aghadoe Heights.

Salary Information

The advertised pay range represents the salary available for this role. Final starting salary will be determined within this range, based on relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and business requirements.
