The Galway Bay Hotel is recruiting an experienced Food & Beverage Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team in Galway. This is a permanent role with part-time hours, on-site work, and a competitive salary.

As part of the Hodson Bay Group, you will help maximise guest satisfaction, provide professional service, and be familiar with our menu and beverages. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within a recognised hospitality employer.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as quality training will be provided.

Responsibilities

To maximise guest satisfaction by ensuring the smooth and efficient running of service.
Ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
To ensure that all guests are warmly welcomed and that orders are taken efficiently.
To always be familiar with product offering (i.e. the menu, beverages on offer).
To ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the Company standard of presentation.
To ensure the department is properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service.
You will have a warm, engaging personality and have a passion for excellent guest service by going the extra mile to ensure our customers have a great experience and leave wanting to come back time and again.
You will uphold our culture of Respect and possess qualities in keeping with the company core values: Excellence, Passion, Honesty, Flexibility & Fun!
You have excellent communication skills and an inviting manner.

Applicants must be available to work Monday to Friday and weekends.
