Avoca is recruiting for experienced food handlers to work part-time (16 hours per week) in our café at Avoca Rathcoole. You will deliver high standards of customer service, assist customers in person and over the phone, and maintain the café’s quality and brand standards.

Key duties include coffee preparation, serving fresh food, till operation, stock replenishment, and daily opening/closing tasks. We offer a pension scheme, development opportunities, and wellbeing programmes.

Job Description

We are recruiting for experienced food handlers to work part-time (16 hours per week) in our café in our location at Avoca Rathcoole.

Duties include:

• Customer Service - A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person and via phone
• Barista - making coffees, serving fresh food to customers.
• Till use - scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the retail department is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager
• Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and in keeping with Avoca brand standard
• Ad-hoc duties outlined by your manager
