Job summary

Avoca Suffolk Street in Dublin is recruiting for experienced food handlers to work part-time in our cafe. You will deliver high quality customer service, prepare coffees as a Barista, and handle till payments while maintaining Avoca brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy cafe.
• Waiting/Barista experience desired.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standard customer service in person and via phone.
• Prepare and serve coffees and other food items as Barista.
• Operate till and process payments, manage queues.
• Replenish stock and ensure brand standards are met in the retail area.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as directed by line manager.
• Keep store clean and aligned with Avoca brand standards.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required by management.

We are recruiting for experienced food handlers to work part-time in our cafe in our location at Avoca Suffolk Street.

Duties include:

• Customer Service - A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person and via phone
• Barista - making coffees, serving fresh food to customers.
• Till use - scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the retail department is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager
• Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and in keeping with Avoca brand standard
• Ad-hoc duties outlined by your manager
