Job summary

Avoca Ballsbridge is seeking a Counter Assistant for a permanent part-time role (32 hours per week) with an immediate start. The candidate must be flexible and have the right to work in Ireland. Avoca does not sponsor work permits.

Duties include customer service, till use, stock replenishment, opening/closing duties, and maintaining brand standards. Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, barista skills are desirable, and strong communication and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard customer service in person and on the phone.
• Operate till, scan items and process payments, manage queues.
• Replenish stock and maintain Avoca brand standards.
• Handle opening and closing duties as directed by management.
• Keep store clean and tidy in line with brand standards.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required by your manager.

We are recruiting for an experienced Counter Assistant to work on a permanent part-time basis (32 hours per week) in our location at Avoca Ballsbridge. This position is for an immediate start and the candidate must be flexible.

Please note that Avoca does not provide visa, employment permit or work permit sponsorship for this role. Applicants must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of application.

Duties include

• Customer Service - A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person and via phone
• Till use - scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the retail department is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager
• Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and in keeping with Avoca brand standard
• Ad-hoc duties outlined by your manager
