Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. in Ireland is seeking a Floating Steel Cleaner to prepare steel components for shot blasting and painting. You will clean, deburr, and finish parts to high quality using grinders and hand tools.

The role requires operating overhead cranes and MEWP at height, with overtime and an end-of-year bonus among attractive benefits.

Formación

• Use a variety of tools i.e. 7” grinder, 4” grinder, chisel for filing spatter, hammer, air gun, tungsten grinder.
• Know and apply the correct finish i.e. Breaking edges, sanding, grinding and deburring.
• Understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature.
• Use of overhead cranes.
• Use of MEWP working at height when needed.

We are recruiting for a Floating Steel Cleaner within Steel Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning our steel structural components and preparing them for shot blasting and painting. The ideal candidate must produce parts to a high quality and standard, and in an efficient manner to meet production and shipping demands.

• Use a variety of tools i.e. 7” grinder, 4” grinder, chisel for filing spatter, hammer, air gun, tungsten grinder.
• Know and apply the correct finish i.e. Breaking edges, sanding, grinding and deburring.
• Understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature.
• Use of overhead cranes.
