Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. in Ireland seeks a Floating Steel Cleaner to prepare steel components for shot blasting and painting. You will ensure parts meet high quality standards while working efficiently to support production and shipping timelines.

The role requires using grinders, operating overhead cranes and MEWPs as needed, with attention to safety and instruction interpretation. Competitive benefits and career progression are offered.

Formación

• Experience with grinders in steel fabrication.
• Shift availability 06:30–15:00 or 15:00–23:30.
• Ability to follow technical instructions (oral and written).
• MEWP operation when required at height.

We are recruiting for a Floating Steel Cleaner within Steel Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning our steel structural components and preparing them for shot blasting and painting. The ideal candidate must produce parts to a high quality and standard, and in an efficient manner to meet production and shipping demands.

• Use a variety of tools i.e. 7” grinder, 4” grinder, chisel for filing spatter, hammer, air gun, tungsten grinder.
• Know and apply the correct finish i.e. Breaking edges, sanding, grinding and deburring.
• Understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature.
• Use of overhead cranes.
• Use of MEWP working at height when needed.

Qualifications Requirements and Experience

• Experience of working with grinders.
• Must be available to work shift 06:30 to 15:00 / 15:00 to 23:30.
