Job summary

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. in Killarney, Ireland, is recruiting for Fitter(s) on a fixed-term contract reporting to the Final Assembly Foreman. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Shift work is required. Responsibilities include reading assembly drawings, knowledge of hydraulic systems, gear assembly, bearing and seal fitting, shaft alignment, fabrication of parts, and other

Qualifications

• Qualified Fitter with relevant certification.
• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• Ability to work in a shift pattern (06:30–15:00 / 15:00–23:30).

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Work with hydraulic systems knowledge.
• Assemble gears, bearings, seals and couplings and perform alignment.
• Fabricate parts using shears and bending machine.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for Fitter(s) to join our team on a fixed term contract. Reporting to the Final Assembly Foreman, the ideal candidate will be highly motivated self- starter, dependable and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The candidate will have excellent attention to detail and have good communication skills. This position requires flexibility to work shift work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Ability to understand and read assembly drawings
General knowledge of hydraulic systems.
General gear assembly-fitting bearings, seals and coupling alignment.
Fabrication of parts using shears and bending machine.
Other duties as assigned by the company from time to time.

Qualifications, Requirements & Experience

A qualified Fitter.
Self-motivated with good organisational capabilities.
Ability to work as part of a team and to use own initiative.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be available to work 06:30-15:00/15:00 - 23:30.
