Job summary

Respond is seeking a Project Worker to join our team in Dublin to support families in STA and work towards securing long-term accommodation.

You will admit families, assist with finding suitable properties, viewings, and liaise with landlords, welfare services and local agencies. A Level 7 qualification in Social Care or related field is required, with experience in homelessness preferred.

The role requires a 40-hour week including evenings and weekends, and Garda Vetting will be undertaken.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 7 qualification in Social Care or related field.
• Knowledge of Pathways to Home, HAP, HNAs and SLI.
• Minimum one year experience in homelessness and related services.

Responsibilities

• Admit families to the service with full induction.
• Assist families to identify suitable properties and landlords.
• accompany families to viewings and negotiate rents with landlords.
• Support families to understand HAP and tenancy agreements.
• Develop and implement a support plan with families.
• Maintain PASS documentation and liaise with local services.
• Attend team meetings and participate in CPD.
