Carton House in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, Ireland, invites applications for a Fitness Professional to join our Spa & Wellness team. You will deliver group classes and 1-2 personal training sessions, ensuring first-class service and safety standards in a 5-star resort setting.

We value passion for fitness, teamwork, and flexibility in working hours. National fitness qualifications and 1-2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• National qualification in fitness, ITEC or similar.
• Passion for fitness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Present a professional appearance and deliver high standards of customer service.
• Provide a fitness program including group classes and personal training sessions.
• Deliver group sessions tailored to the environment.
• Demonstrate techniques for all fitness levels.
• Deliver 1-2 personal training sessions.
• Promote the fitness program and increase participation.
• Ensure health and safety and safe use of equipment.
• Maintain and repair equipment and keep the gym floor tidy.
• Work independently and flexibly in duties as required by the manager.

We're currently hiring for a Fitness Professional to join our excellent Spa & Wellness team at Carton House.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain an excellent standard of customer service.
• Provide a fitness program which caters for all guests incorporating group classes and personal training sessions.
• Deliver a wide variety of group sessions specifically tailored to the environment.
• Effectively demonstrate techniques to all fitness levels.
• Deliver 1-1 personal training sessions.
• Promote the fitness program and actively aim to increase participation.
• Ensure health and safety is to the highest standard and that guests are advised on the effective and safe use of all equipment.
• Take responsibility for the maintenance and repair of equipment and the satisfactory appearance of Carton Spa & Wellness Gym Floor to ensure the meeting of guest high expectations.
• Work independently and proactively provide assistance to all guests.
• Be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties, within reason, as requested by your manager according to training you have been given.

Key Requirements:

• National qualification in fitness, ITEC or similar
• Passion for fitness
• Enthusiasm and positive
• A real understanding of 5 * health club operations
• Flexibility with working hours and days
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team
• A structured and organized approach to work planning, class and programme structuring
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar environment
