Job summary

Moyne Roberts Ireland Ltd are currently looking for a Factory Operative to join our team in Cavan. The successful candidate will work on our production line, refilling fire extinguishers and assisting with general factory and warehouse duties.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is reliable, practical and safety-conscious, with a good team spirit. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, and you will work 39 hours per week: Mon-Thu 8:00–16:30, Fri 8:00–15:30.

Qualifications

• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Hands-on, practical candidate with good physical fitness.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Refill fire extinguishers according to procedures.
• Prepare extinguishers for servicing and dispatch.
• Inspect, clean and prepare extinguishers.
• Move and organise stock and equipment.
• Prepare completed extinguishers for collection or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Complete paperwork and records accurately.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
• Carry out other general factory duties.
