Job summary

Fire Protection Ireland is seeking experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineers for a field-based role covering servicing, installation, and commissioning of extinguishers across customer sites in line with IS 291:2015 + A1:2022 standards. You will help clients stay compliant and protected while identifying new opportunities to support their fire safety needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organised.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Previous experience in servicing portable fire equipment is preferred.
• Full, clean Irish driving licence.
• Must be 25 or over for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, and commission fire extinguishers across customer sites.
• Plan daily appointments efficiently to maximise productivity.
• Maintain vehicle stock and complete accurate service reports.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify additional service opportunities.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to the highest quality standards.
