Job description

Fire Engineer with 3+ years’ experience required to join a highly respected Fire Safety Engineering & Access consultancy with offices in Dublin, Donegal and Cork This role will involve working on large scale projects for blue-chip clients such as Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, daa, Airbnb and many more around Ireland. Duties:

• The successful Fire Engineer will work on the design team and shall work on varied projects.
• As Fire Engineer you will be involved in design appraisals and client engagement for large projects.
• Collaborate with customers, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and in-house resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Project scheduling and resource planning aligned to meet customer requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records of all process steps.
• Liaising with clients, and other stakeholders and co-ordinate with all other disciplines in terms of the project requirements.

Requirements:

• Honours Degree in Fire Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architectural Technologist and/or Building Surveying.
• The successful Fire Engineer should have 3+ years post graduate Fire Engineering experience within an engineering consultancy in Ireland or the UK.
• Experience in structural fire engineering, smoke and heat modelling and evacuation analysis.
• Excellent report writing skills is essential.
• Must hold a driving licence as travel is sometimes required.
