Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking qualified Intermediate to Senior Fire Engineers for its North Dublin offices. You will work on diverse projects across sectors such as Leisure, Educational, Commercial and Healthcare, from design through construction.

The role requires a degree in Fire Safety Engineering, 3–8+ years’ experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and SketchUp. Irish regulatory knowledge and consultancy experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Fire Safety Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3+ years experience for intermediate level or 8+ years for Senior level.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and SketchUp is desired.
• Solid understanding of current Irish Building Regulations, particularly Part B and accessibility (M).
• Strong drafting and detailing skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal and client liaison abilities.
• Experience in a consultancy environment in architecture and engineering preferred.
• Project coordination and report writing skills.
• Experience on construction-stage projects.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland required.

Qualified Intermediate & Senior level Fire Engineers are required by a leading multidisciplinary company in North Dublin. They are a busy multidisciplinary company working within the architectural, engineering and construction industry with a diverse project portfolio.

Due to an increase in projects both domestically and internationally, they are growing the talented team and seeking experienced Fire Engineers at various levels.

The role will involve working on exciting projects across various sectors including; Leisure, Sports, Educational, Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Residential, Pharmaceutical, Mission Critical and Conservation for both public and private clients.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Degree level (or higher) qualification in Fire Safety Engineering (or equivalent)
• 3 years’+ experience for intermediate level position or 8 years+ for Senior level position
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and SketchUp is desired
• Must have a good understanding of current Irish Building Regulation and a thorough understanding of Part B and M access
• Strong drafting and detail skills
• Team Player with good interpersonal and client liaising skills
• Previous experience within a consultancy environment either architecture and engineering is preferred
• Project coordination and report writing skills
• Experience working on projects during construction stage
• Only those holding eligibility to work in Ireland can be considered
