Job description

Walls Construction are currently seeking an experienced Finishing Supervisor to join our team on Dublin-based residential projects. This role is ideal for a trade-qualified professional from a carpentry background with strong attention to detail and proven experience managing finishing stages on high-quality housing or apartment developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all internal and external finishing works, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard, on programme, and in compliance with health & safety and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all finishing trades including carpentry, joinery, drylining, painting, tiling, flooring, kitchens, wardrobes, and final fit-out works
• Supervise and direct subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification
• Ensure all finishes meet Walls Construction’s quality standards and client expectations
• Carry out snagging inspections, manage snag lists, and ensure timely close-out
• Coordinate with Site Manager, Project Manager, design teams, and subcontractors
• Monitor progress against programme and report issues or delays
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
• Maintain accurate site records, inspections, and progress reports
• Assist with handover processes, including final inspections and client walkthroughs
