Standard Life, a retirement specialist, is recruiting a financial accountant to join the Financial Reporting team. You will deliver high‑quality monthly MI and quarterly statutory/regulatory reporting, analyze results, and communicate drivers and variances to stakeholders.

A strong control environment and collaboration with internal teams and outsourced providers are essential. The role also involves finance projects, process improvement, and audit support.

Competenze

• Qualified accountant with strong technical grounding.
• 2+ years post-qualification experience in financial reporting, audit, or regulated environment.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Mansioni

• Prepare, review and analyse statutory and regulatory financial results.
• Provide clear explanations of financial performance to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain strong control environment across processes, including outsourced providers.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting and controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Collaborate with other teams and outsourced providers for consistency and efficiency.
