Job summary

RSM Ireland is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join our Accounting & Financial Reporting team in Dublin. The role focuses on statutory financial reporting under FRS 102, FRS 101 and IFRS, servicing Irish and international clients.

It offers a permanent, full-time position with flexible working arrangements. You will prepare financial statements and disclosures, support audit processes, and contribute to diverse reporting engagements within a global network.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• 0–2 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience preparing or auditing statutory financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102; IFRS/FRS 101 desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proactive and client-focused with collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements under FRS 102/101 and IFRS.
• Prepare supporting schedules and audit-ready working papers.
• Review trial balances and identify accounting/reporting matters.
• Research technical accounting and disclosure queries.
• Liaise with clients and audit teams to obtain information.
• Ensure statements comply with accounting standards and company law.
• Manage work to deadlines with high quality.
• Collaborate with audit, tax and other teams.
• Share knowledge with junior team members.
