Job summary

Standard Life in Dublin is recruiting a financial accountant to join the Financial Reporting team. The role covers monthly MI and quarterly statutory/regulatory reporting, focusing on reviewing results, identifying drivers and variances, and communicating insights to stakeholders.

You will support governance, coordinate with internal teams and external providers, and contribute to finance projects and process improvements. Hybrid working is offered within a 12‑month FTC.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with professional designation (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
• 2+ years in financial reporting, audit, insurance or other regulated environment preferred.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and explain drivers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze statutory and regulatory financial results.
• Provide clear explanations of performance drivers to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain strong control and governance across processes and outsourced providers.
• Support finance projects and continuous improvement within the function.
