Job summary

At AIB, the Financial Planning Advisor role supports customers across pensions, investments, savings and protection, understanding goals and priorities to deliver tailored advice.

Based in the South East region and fully on site, you will build trusted relationships and grow your portfolio through referrals while collaborating with a nationwide team of professionals to help customers achieve better financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Fully QFA qualified.
• Strong customer focus and genuine interest in helping customers plan for their financial future.
• Proven team player with collaboration & process efficiency, to capitalise on sales opportunities and consistently working with other support areas to deliver for our customers.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to identify opportunities and deliver positive customer outcomes.
• Confidence working or collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• A commitment to operating within regulatory and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with customers, delivering financial planning solutions tailored to their individual needs and goals.
• Provide advice across pensions, investments, protection and savings, ensuring customer needs remain at the centre of every recommendation.
• Engage and motivate branch colleagues, business centres and other key stakeholders to generate quality referral opportunities.
• Manage customer opportunities effectively and follow through from the initial conversation to a positive customer outcome.
• Support the achievement of regional and local Customer Financial Planning objectives, helping drive commercial performance and customer outcomes.
• Operate to the highest standards of professionalism, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
