Job summary

Allied Irish Banks (AIB) in Ireland seeks a Financial Planning Advisor to support customers across pensions, investments, savings and protection. You will develop relationships across branches, understand goals, and provide tailored advice to help customers secure their financial futures.

Working with our nationwide team of over 140 financial planning professionals, you will identify opportunities, refer stakeholders, and deliver compliant, customer-focused solutions while upholding governance

Qualifications

• Fully QFA qualified.
• A strong customer focus and genuine interest in helping customers plan for their financial future
• A proven track record working as a team player with strong focus on collaboration & process efficiency, to capitalise on sales opportunities and consistently working with other support areas to deliver for our customers.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to identify opportunities and deliver positive customer outcomes.
• Confidence working or collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• A commitment to operating within regulatory and professional standards.
• Experience providing financial planning advice.
• Experience working in a target-driven, customer-focused environment.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and progression within financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with customers, delivering financial planning solutions tailored to their individual needs and goals.
• Provide advice across pensions, investments, protection and savings, ensuring customer needs remain at the centre of every recommendation.
• Engage and motivate branch colleagues, business centres and other key stakeholders to generate quality referral opportunities.
• Manage customer opportunities effectively and follow through from the initial conversation to a positive customer outcome.
• Support the achievement of regional and local Customer Financial Planning objectives, helping drive commercial performance and customer outcomes.
• Operate to the highest standards of professionalism, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
