Job summary

Artemis Human Capital partners with a leading manufacturing business in County Cavan to appoint a Financial Controller. This senior role requires a highly commercial accountant to support growth and operational efficiency during a crucial expansion phase.

You will lead budgets and monthly accounts, partner with operations on projects, manage cashflow forecasting and audits, and develop robust financial controls. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professionals with manufacturing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA certification.
• Manufacturing sector experience is essential.
• Strong communication skills to inform senior management.
• Ability to lead and mentor a finance team.
• Advanced Excel skills and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage quarterly and annual budgets.

The Role:

• Manage the quarterly/annual budgets
• Review and present monthly management accounts
• Business partner with the operations team to drive projects forward
• Manage cashflow forecasting and oversee all payments
• Variance analysis and reporting
• Prepare quarterly and annual reporting
• Develop and implement financial controls and processes
• Consult with auditors and preparing audit packs

The Person:

• Qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Manufacturing experience is essential.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate clear, concise information effectively to senior management team
• Ability to lead, develop and mentor finance team
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced excel skills
