Job summary

Strive Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Financial Controller in Mayo for a growing logistics company. The role offers flexible hybrid working and ownership of the finance function to drive commercial insight.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, provide analysis to senior management, oversee cash flow, tax compliance and month-end close, and monitor profitability and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CPA designation.
• Strong management accounting and commercial analysis experience.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, commercial mindset.
• Desirable experience in logistics, transport, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial commentary to senior management.
• Analyse profitability, margins and operational performance.
• Oversee day-to-day finance: invoicing, ledgers and credit control.
• Manage cash flow, tax compliance, month-end and year-end processes.
