Job summary

Cpl in Dublin 9 is seeking a Financial Accountant to support budgeting, financial planning, management accounting and reporting activities for the group.

You will prepare financial reports, manage month-end processes, analyse data and ensure strong controls and compliance, working with auditors and stakeholders. This 11-month contract has a view to permanency and offers an opportunity to contribute to finance transformation projects.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification (NFQ Level 7 or equivalent).
• Professional accounting qualification or finalist.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget.
• Produce and review monthly, annual, and period-end financial reports.
• Prepare monthly accruals and journal entries.
• Analyse financial information and provide management insights.
• Support finance transformation projects and MIS improvements.
• Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Support other finance and financial planning activities as needed.
