Empleo is assisting an international client in Dublin to hire a Newly Qualified Accountant on a permanent basis. You will join a high-calibre finance team and gain broad exposure across financial accounting, financial reporting and tax.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, assist external audits, participate in budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis. Strong communication and reporting skills are essential.

My client, an international business is recruiting a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will join a high-calibre finance team and will gain broad exposure across financial accounting, financial reporting and tax.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts
• Involvement in external audit process
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
• Preparation of financial reports and analysis
• Researching and providing advice on financial reporting implications of new types of transactions and accounting matters
• Preparation of tax returns
• Working on ad-hoc projects

Key requirements:

• Newly qualified accountant with a background in Big 4 practice required
• Excellent academic record
• Strong communication, presentation and report writing skills
