Job summary

Amicus Finance are recruiting for a newly created Part-Time Financial Accountant (26 hours/week) in North Dublin. The role offers hybrid work (2 days in office, anchor Wednesday) with clear P&L accountability and mentorship from the Finance Manager.

The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA qualified with 3–5 years PQE, strong ERP skills (SAP), and Irish market experience. Pro-rata salary is €56k–€59k, pro-rata (equivalent to €80k–€83k FTE).

• FMCG/retail experience or a move from Big 4/Mid-Tier audit is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close (local GAAP & US GAAP).
• Manage ERP/BPC reporting and liaise with offshored/outsourced hubs.
• Lead trade accrual reconciliations and operating working capital forecasting.
• Coordinate AR/sales ledger alignment and external audit compliance.
• Collaborate with Revenue Growth Management on profitability projects and budgeting.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and handle ad-hoc regulatory compliance projects.

Key focus areas include trade accrual reconciliations, Operating Working Capital forecasting, managing AR/Sales ledger alignment, and overseeing external audit compliance. Beyond core reporting, you will gain true commercial exposure- co-piloting with Revenue Growth Management (RGM) on profitability projects, owning Annual Operating Plan indirect and supply chain budgets, driving cost-saving initiatives, and handling ad-hoc regulatory compliance projects.

We are looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (3-5 years PQE preferred) with proven Irish market experience and valid work eligibility (no visa sponsorship provided).
