Job summary

EY in Dublin is seeking a Senior Consultant in Finance within the Business Consulting Finance team. You will help shape the future of finance, data and risk management, collaborating with global teams on complex client engagements.

With 2+ years of experience in Finance, Data or Risk, you will contribute to finance transformation initiatives, apply regulatory knowledge, and support a range of service offerings across advisory projects. This role is full-time and based in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience delivering change in a finance function environment, gained in consulting or industry.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of finance, data and risk management landscapes and trends.
• Proven ability to develop structured presentations and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of client engagement teams with diverse skills to deliver finance projects.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills to improve business processes and workflows.
• Deliver high-quality work products within timelines and budgets.
• Manage project documentation including RAID logs, status reports and meeting minutes.
• Gather and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Lead workshops/interviews to collect requirements and document processes.
• Support EY’s service offerings across a range of advisory engagements.
• Develop innovative solutions to client challenges and drive outcomes.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders in written and spoken form.
