Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager for Strategic Projects on a 12 month fixed-term contract. You will lead major finance transformation initiatives, champion process change, and work with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic programmes that improve efficiency and effectiveness across the finance function.

You will collaborate with multiple finance domains, drive design, governance, and adoption, and ensure alignment with Primark's strategic priorities while

Qualifications

• Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
• Experience in a Finance environment and with Finance systems
• Accreditation and/or practitioner experience in Transformation, Change Management or Project Management would be advantageous
• Knowledge of transformation through automation, BI and data analytics (e.g., RPA)
• Strong track record delivering change programmes to a finance function
• Experience documenting finance process design and governance across end-to-end processes
• Experience with process standardisation and optimisation, including automation

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic change for large-scale end-to-end finance processes
• Act as the Finance process SME for major initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional SMEs to ensure delivery
• Run workstream meetings and coordinate SMEs
• Deliver finance workstream deliverables and manage dependencies
• Design and deliver relevant finance processes with process owners
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve controls
• Ensure policy adherence and operational effectiveness
• Engage stakeholders outside Finance (Procurement, Legal, Technology)
• Develop and manage communication, training and adoption plans
• Support design and delivery of training programs
• Provide input and support on multiple transformation projects as needed
