Job summary

Canada Life Assurance Europe plc in Dublin is seeking a Finance Test Analyst (Projects) to join a cross‑company team delivering new code for the administration system. You will test, automate testing approaches, and support in defect resolution across finance processes.

You will liaise with Finance, Actuarial and QA teams, contributing to successful implementations while addressing production issues and backlog automation tasks as part of a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience testing financial systems and automation is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills across teams.
• Knowledge of Power BI and data reporting is a plus.
• German language knowledge is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate and implement testing processes for finance.
• Automate existing testing approaches with assistance from Test automation team and work through backlog.
• Perform testing for regular releases with the team.
• Review testing outputs from others and other teams (QA, End-to-end).
• Support review of specifications and defect resolution for new functionality.
• Assist Financial Operations Team in understanding new functionality and investigate production issues.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure successful finance-specific implementation and resolve queries.
• Handle ad-hoc/project work within the area.
