Job summary

Alstom in Dublin is seeking a Finance Project Manager to oversee project financials, reporting, and forecasting within the project team. You will advise the PM and finance partner on financial matters, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Alstom rules in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands strong numerical skills, ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification or equivalent, and agile collaboration with cross-functional teams for effective decision-making and successful cash flow management.

Qualifications

• ACCA / CIMA/ACA Qualified or equivalent experience.
• Project Controlling experience is required.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with strong experience in using integrated financial systems.
• Must have strong numerical skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Lead project financial reviews, reporting and forecasting.
• Partner with the Project Manager and teams to optimize financial performance.
• Manage project risks and accounting implications, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Drive cash and working capital management, invoicing and forecasting.
• Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Insurance, Contract Management and local finance.
• Support claims and contractual changes with cost estimates and approvals.
• Provide financial input to meetings and ad hoc analysis.
