Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Project Finance Manager in Dublin with hybrid working. You will work with senior colleagues to deliver financial and commercial advisory for public sector capital projects and programmes, spanning climate, education, justice, social housing and transport.

You will lead financial modelling, structuring, risk and contract considerations, while maintaining stakeholder relationships and ensuring ESG and governance standards are integrated throughout the project

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a financial advisory, banking, or sustainable finance role.
• Degree in economics, finance, commerce, or related discipline.
• Membership of ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CFA desirable.
• Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and commercial thinking.
• Stamp 4 or EU Passport required.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and commercial advisory for major capital projects across sectors.
• Support project structuring, evaluation, and contract development.
• Develop financial models and test payment mechanisms.

About Your New Employer

Project Finance Manager role with a well-known organisation based in Dublin City (hybrid working).

About Your New Job

Work closely with senior colleagues to provide financial and commercial advisory services assisting public sector bodies in delivering major capital projects and programmes across various sectors, including climate, education, justice, social housing, and transport.

Support clients in project structuring and delivery throughout the full project lifecycle, including project requirements, financial/commercial/risk assessments, contract development, financial modelling, and stakeholder management.

Prepare and test payment mechanisms, participate in funding market engagements, help negotiate commercial terms for contract documentation, and actively maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Advise on environmental, social, and corporate governance requirements related to major capital project financing.

Oversee general financial advisory and evaluation work, such as financial statement analysis, financial robustness assessments, market and options analysis, and prepare reports/memoranda for senior management.

What Skills You Need

• At least 5 years relevant experience in a financial advisory role, banking, or sustainable finance, supporting major capital projects and programmes.
• Relevant third-level degree (preferably in economics, finance, commerce, or a related discipline).
• Membership of a relevant professional body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and communication skills (written, oral, presentation).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and influence others, highly organized, commercially minded, and innovative.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, deal with conflicting agendas, and meet deadlines.
• Stamp 4 or EU Passport required.
