Job summary

Cental is a global provider of designed, engineered, built and integrated modular solutions with its headquarters in Carlow, Ireland. The Finance Manager will work with the CFO to manage financial operations, ensure robust control, reporting and statutory compliance while supporting commercial and operational objectives.

The role covers monthly management accounts, balance sheet integrity, cashflow, AP/AR, payroll, procurement governance, and year-end audit support, in a multi-site engineering

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and control.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow) with commentary.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accounts are fully supported.
• Maintain fixed asset register (additions, disposals, depreciation, GL reconciliation).
• Support year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare VAT and Intrastat returns, ensure statutory compliance.
• Oversee AP, AR and payroll operations and procurement controls.
