A leading finance organization in Ireland seeks a Financial Controller to manage annual budgets, prepare financial accounts, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a recognized accountancy qualification, experience with accounting software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Qualifications

• Recognized accountancy qualification (CAI, ACCA or equivalent).
• Experience with SAGE or equivalent accounting software.
• Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts and management accounts.
• Technical accounting knowledge, for example the Charities SORP.
• Team or Project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Periodically reviewing and updating key Finance policies and procedures.
• Liaising with stakeholders to produce the Annual Budget.
• Coordinating with managers to develop budgets.
• Ensuring all statutory requirements are met.
• Supporting the payroll function as required.
• Profiling cash flows and ensuring compliance.

Skills

Recognized accountancy qualification (CAI, ACCA or equivalent)

Experience with SAGE or equivalent accounting software

Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts and management accounts
