Job summary

Echelon Data Centres in Dublin is hiring an experienced Finance Manager to lead project accounting, cost reporting, cashflow forecasting and governance. You will work with the Financial Controller, CFO and project teams to embed robust financial oversight across development projects.

Candidates should be a qualified accountant with strong management accounting and reporting experience, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive, commercially minded approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong management accounting, reporting and controls experience.
• Strong project finance, cost reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and provide commercial insight.
• High standards of professionalism, integrity and accountability in a fast-paced project-led environment.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities for development projects, including accruals and cost reviews.
• Review project cost reports: actual spend, committed costs, forecast spend and variances to budget.
• Assist with cashflow forecasting by tracking supplier payments and future funding requirements.
• Support budgeting/forecasting processes with project teams to validate assumptions.
• Monitor spend against budgets and delegated authority, ensuring finance controls are followed.
• Provide finance support to project managers and stakeholders with clear reporting and insight.
• Identify risks and trends in project spend and escalate as needed.
• Improve finance systems, templates, workflows and processes.
• Contribute to management reporting and ad hoc analysis.
