Job summary

Wallace Myers International is seeking a Finance Manager to support a large production facility in Cavan/Northeast Ireland. The role partners with operational leaders to drive performance, provide commercial insight and ensure strong financial governance.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting, while mentoring the finance team and upholding robust controls to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Proven budgeting and forecasting expertise.
• Excellent analytical and business partnering skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and support operational decision-making.
• Manufacturing, food, FMCG, or industrial sector experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
• Support product costing and commercial decision-making.
• Monitor capital expenditure and evaluate investment projects.
• Maintain robust financial controls and compliance procedures.
• Assist with audit and year-end processes.
• Partner with site leadership on operational and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members.
