Sigmar Recruitment represents an Irish manufacturing company hiring a Finance Manager to oversee monthly management accounts, P&L variances, and costing activities within a small, established finance team.

The role partners with Production and Supply Chain, manages international AP/AR and multi-currency reconciliations, and supports year-end processes while driving strong financial controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Manufacturing experience would be an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills – Pivot Tables, Macros.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analyses.
• Partner with Production and Supply Chain to monitor usage and costs.
• Manage standard costing and raw material inventory.
• Analyse manufacturing KPIs to provide actionable insights.
• Oversee international AP/AR ledgers and multi-currency reconciliations.
• Support cost control and year-end processes with the wider business.

Finance Manager

My client, an Irish manufacturing company are looking to recruit a new Finance Manager to the business. This role reports directly to the CFO and will join a small but established finance team.

About your new job:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reports, investigate P&L and balance sheet variances
• Partner closely with Production and Supply Chain teams to monitor usage and costs.
• Manage standard costing and raw material inventory ensuring accurate month-end reporting.
• Analyse key manufacturing KPIs providing actionable insights to management.
• Take ownership of international AP and AR ledgers, alongside daily multi-currency bank, credit card and bank reconciliations.
• Work closely with departments to identify cost drivers, strengthen financial controls and support the wider business during peak periods and year-end.

What skills you need:

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Manufacturing experience would be an advantage
• Advance Excel skills - Pivot Tables, Marcos etc
