Job summary

Coopman Search and Selection represents a fast-growing international client seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join the finance leadership team in Ireland. This newly created role partners with the VP Finance to drive financial reporting, governance and technical accounting across multi-entity aircraft leasing structures.

You will oversee IFRS accounting for leasing transactions and complex asset structures, manage controls and audit readiness, and support strategic financing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires a qualified accountant with senior finance leadership experience.
• Experience in aircraft leasing, aviation finance, structured finance or ABS environments is essential.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and ability to apply it to complex structures.

Responsibilities

My client, a growing international organisation, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join its finance leadership team. This is a newly created role due to continued business growth and forms part of a clear succession plan, working closely with the VP Finance.

The position sits within a Corporate Services Provider (CSP) environment and offers exposure to a sophisticated portfolio of aircraft leasing, structured finance, and Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) transactions.

The Opportunity

This is a high-visibility leadership role at the heart of a complex international finance function. You will partner directly with the VP Finance, overseeing financial reporting, governance, and technical accounting across multi-entity aircraft leasing structures while supporting strategic financing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP Finance on strategic and operational finance matters.


• Oversee aircraft leasing portfolios, structured finance arrangements, and ABS-related entities.


• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting.


• Ensure accurate IFRS accounting for leasing transactions and complex asset structures.


• Manage financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness across multiple entities.

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).


• Strong experience in aircraft leasing, aviation finance, structured finance, or ABS environments.


• Significant senior finance or group finance experience.


• Excellent technical accounting knowledge with strong IFRS expertise.


• Experience working across complex, multi-entity or international structures.


• Comfortable partnering with senior leadership, including VP Finance and CFO level.


• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
